I am a professional artist and children's author residing in Bideford, Devon. Formerly the Chair of Swindon Artists Forum, I now lead the Torridge Arts and Crafts Group. I am also pleased to be part of the ARTMAKERS New Wave community and their ART UPSTAIRS Gallery in Bideford (www.artmakers.uk).

During the COVID restrictions, I began writing and illustrating children's stories, producing 19 books to date, available on AMAZON or as signed copies directly from me - please refer to the GALLERIES section.

I have been painting for as long as I can remember, mostly self-taught, and my work has been selected by clients across the UK, North America, Scandinavia, Australia, and Europe.

My mediums include acrylics, oils, pen and wash, inks, and watercolors, covering a range of subjects. My paintings often explore the interplay of color, tone, and light, and the atmospheric inspiration drawn from nature. I also enjoy painting portraits that capture life's experiences in the details of a face. Some works are created purely for enjoyment or inspired by a captivating sight.

My art is produced through various techniques and mediums, offering a diverse portfolio as I am not confined to any particular creative approach. Art for me is a journey of self-discovery and skill enhancement; indeed, in art, one never ceases to learn.
